I recently stayed at Gallery At Warrenfield House during my transit through Kirkwall, and I must say, it was a pleasant experience. The convenience of the hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, just 3 km away, made my journey effortless. The peaceful ambiance of the hotel, surrounded by picturesque views, provided the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a long day of travel.

While my stay was nearly perfect, I did encounter a minor inconvenience. The radiators in the room had timings that I found a bit challenging to decipher.

We loved the super comfy bed and pillows, and it was great knowing there were smoke detectors in place.

Great location close to the town center, cathedral, and local pubs, making it a perfect base for a trip.

Food for breakfast could be improved by providing laundry pods for the washing machine. It would also be helpful to have a property handbook with practical information, such as the location of the clothes airer and details about recycling waste.

While our stay was mostly excellent, we did experience a damp smell in the bedroom throughout our stay. Despite opening windows and doors every day, it didn't seem to make a difference.
